Project Soolaimon was born from my wife, Tracy. People who know me or who have read my site will know that I spent along time in the Army. During my time I was stationed in Kenya. To cut a long story short I visited an orphanage over there that left me in a state of disbelief how children could live and suffer the way they do in this place. Yes, they do get care and love from the staff but with very limited funds and so many children to care for these poor souls desperately need help. Tracy came up with the idea to raise funds through a series of concerts, the sale of a new CD, and through donations from you, the public. So here it starts!!
Project Soolaimon has now been active for 4 months. During that time we have raised a substantial amount for the charity. Exact figures will be released soon as we have just completed a show in Dublin, Ireland thanks to my friend Ambrose O'Shea and we still have 3 more in the line-up. Hopefully one or two more will pop up. I'm still hopeful of getting out to Kenya myself to make a presentation at the conclusion of the project. I have recently made a contact that is going to try to get us out there for nothing, fingers crossed, eh. Keep looking back on this page for further updates on the project and a Big thank you for your support.
